What is the new Schoox user experience?
Schoox is building on our legacy of industry firsts by unveiling the next generation of our people-first learning platform. This latest innovation advances the platform with the introduction of workspaces, a reimagined learner experience, immersive course experiences, reimagined social workspace, AI-powered microlearning, and a host of other exciting features designed to empower learners of all backgrounds.
How and when will customers have access to the new user experience?
Schoox will introduce the new user experience through a phased rollout starting in Q1 2025. To ensure sufficient support resources, we will release the new experience to cohorts of customer administrators in stages. The first cohort will gain access in mid-February, with additional cohorts following soon after. The rollout will continue until the new experience is generally available to all customer administrators.
How and when will I be informed about my cohort access?
The first cohort will be informed in late January regarding their mid-February access date. All other customers will receive communication in late February with details about their scheduled cohort start / admin access date.
Here’s an overview of the communication plan aligned with each cohort:
Source | When | Audience | Message |
Email 1 | Two weeks before launch | Primary points of contact | Details about your admin access date and instructions to register for the pre-launch webinar. |
Email 2 | One week before launch | Primary points of contact | Reminder about the admin access and webinar details. |
Webinar | One day before launch | Primary points of contact | We’ll give more details and go over what to expect, including a product overview from Schoox' CEO, Lefteris Ntouanoglou, phases of the rollout from our VP of Customer Success, David Miller, and live Q&A with our product experts. |
Email 3 | Day of Launch | All academy admins and points of contact | Confirmation of access, along with instructions to explore the new experience. |
Email 4 | One week after launch | All academy admins and points of contact | Reminder about training materials and resources to help explore the new experience. |
This staggered communication ensures admins are informed and prepared at every step of the transition.
Can I request to change my cohort date?
Yes, if your assigned cohort date is not suitable for your organization, you can contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss moving it to a later cohort start date within Q1. Please note that only administrators will have access to the new experience on your cohort start date, and this change will not affect your current academy or its functionality.
Will the new user experience be automatically activated for learners when it launches?
No, the new user experience will not be automatically activated for learners. Academy administrators will gain access first, allowing them to explore the design, toggle between the old and new experiences, and plan their rollout to learners. Administrators will then work with their Customer Success Manager to select a “Learner Access Day,” the date when their entire academy will transition to the new experience.
More details about this process will be shared during the pre-access webinar that Schoox will host for each cohort before their launch.
What is the “Schoox Classic” mobile app?
To prepare for the launch of our new mobile app experience, we've renamed the current app to Schoox Classic. This change ensures a seamless transition when the new app, simply called Schoox, becomes available in early February. Once your academy is enabled with the new admin experience, you’ll have the option to explore the new Schoox app.
How and when can I access the new Schoox mobile application?
The new Schoox mobile application featuring the new user experience is set to launch in app stores in early February 2025. The initial release will include the new Navigation and Learner Workspace, with a Microlearning enhancement arriving by the end of Q1.
Admins will be able to download and try out the new mobile application during the exploratory phase when they get access to switch between user experiences.
Once an academy's full transition date is planned (which applies the new experience to all users), learners will also move to the new Schoox app, and access to the Schoox Classic app will no longer be available.
