There are three types of Announcements:
- Academy Announcements
- Course Announcements
- Curriculum Announcements
If you have selected the type of announcement that you want to send (Academy, Course, Curriculum), you are ready to add the desired message and send the announcement to the recipients that you want to!

Announcements can be sent either to single users (Individual Announcement) or to a group of users based on their job and location (Advanced Announcement).
1. Academy Announcements
To send an Academy Announcement click on the main navigation menu and then select Announcements. Next click on the “+” symbol.
You can search the recipients and select them.
You have the option to use filters to send the announcement only to those that match a selected org structure criteria. To achieve this, select the "filter" symbol. Simply, use the menus and select the desired job(s), Above Units(s), and Unit(s). Then click Apply. The number of individuals that match the criteria will display below.
Το add a message to your announcement select Next. You can write your text in the space provided, add an image/URL, and/or click Add Attachments to upload documents from your computer.
You can also prioritize the announcement by checking the High Priority checkbox. You need to choose the number of days before your announcement loses its high priority status and becomes a regular announcement. You have the option to define that announcements shouldn't be sent as a Schoox inbox message, but instead, only as an email notification and displayed on the homepage.
Select the Announce it button and your announcement will be sent to the selected members!
2. Course Announcements
You can send announcements about a course to all its students, only to those who have completed it or only to those who haven’t.
To do this, select from the main navigation menu Training, and click on Courses.
Find the Course in question, click on the "arrow" symbol, and select Send Announcements.
In the next step, you can add the recipients or you can use filters to send the announcement only to those that match a selected org structure criteria. There is also the option to send this announcement to All students, to those who have completed the course, or to those who have not completed it yet.
After selecting the students, click on Next, add your message and you are ready to send your announcement!
3. Curriculum Announcements
You can send curriculum announcements by following a similar process as in the course announcements.
Select from the main navigation menu Training, and click on Curricula.
Find the Curriculum in question, hit on the Manage tab, and select Send Announcements.
Select the students you wish to send the announcement to and click on Next. Add your message and you are ready to send your announcement!
