Questionnaires help you obtain organized feedback from participants. Whereas polls address trends across an audience, questionnaires help administrators and instructors find areas to better the experience.
Event questionnaires can be automatically assigned after the event, and can be set up so that each attendee will need to complete theirs in order to complete the event.
Adding a Questionnaire
After creating an event, revisit it by selecting Manage/Admin in the top navigation bar. Then under either In-Class Training or Live Sessions on the left, Manage Events.
In the Manage Event drop-down menu, select Manage Questionnaires.
Select Create Questionnaire.
Setting Up the Questionnaire
Give the questionnaire a title and description. It is also recommended to set an expiration date for the questionnaire. Lastly, if you want the questionnaire to be required in order to complete the event, be sure to check that option.
Questionnaire Questions
There are two question types available for questionnaires — Open-ended and Close-ended.
A Close-ended question consists of a predetermined list of option from which the user choose. Add as many options as you'd like.
With an Open-ended question, a statement of some kind is required; the user can answer however they'd like.
Add as many questions as needed and Save when finished.
Activating the Questionnaire
After completing the questionnaire, you will make it available to the participants. Toggle the Public option to Yes when ready.
