Uploading External Certificates

NOTE: Credit Types must first be set up in your academy. See this articles for more information. If you are unable to upload external certificates, please contact your academy administrator.

You have the option to upload your certificates you've earned outside of Schoox.

To do so, head to your Profile by selecting Me in the upper navigation bar. Then select the Credits tab.

1) First you need to select the Type of Credits you want to receive for this Certificate.

2) You need to input the Number of credits that this training should give you in Schoox.

*For more information on Credits, please consult with the admin of your academy

3) Add the Date the certificate was earned.

4) Add a short Title for your certification.

5) Upload the certification by selecting the Upload button, and finding it on your computer.

6) Finally, click Save.

Once you complete the process, this request will be listed as pending in your portfolio, as it will need to be reviewed and approved by your academy admin. In the meantime, you are able to delete this request or download the document.

Once your request is approved, you will be able to view the number of credits you have received and download the certificate by navigating to Me > My Certificates. External certificates will be listed under the External Certifications tab.

Kindly note that once credits are approved, the request cannot be modified.

Additionally, admins and managers do not have the ability to directly add external credits and certificates to users' profiles. The only available workaround at this time is to use a backdoor login to access user accounts.
