Admins, as well as Training Managers and Managers with the Assign Training permission enabled, are able to assign training to the employees that are under their authorization. More specifically, Managers can only assign courses and curricula that they are allowed to view through their permitted categories.
Admins can apply extra additions based on this rule. In order to do so:
1) Go to the Admin panel.
2) Select the Your Academy tab in the left navigation bar.
3) Select Academy Settings.
4) Go to Training Assignment Rules and click to expand.
Here you can select whether the Assigners will be able to assign the following or not:
- Uncategorized Private Courses and Curricula
- Categorized Private Courses and Curricula
- Courses and Curricula they created that are now in categories where they don’t have access anymore
Don’t forget to click on Save to apply your academy settings!
