In Schoox you have the option to create Badges that will be automatically awarded to your employees upon course-completion.
First of all, in order to be able to create course-badges, you will need to enable the relevant advanced setting for your academy. Hover over the Admin tab from your upper navigation menu and click on the Academy Settings option. Go to your Advanced Settings, search for the Gamification module, click on the Academy Badges section and turn to yes the toggle that is related to the course badges.
Now that you have enabled the course-badges for your academy, you have the option to go to the Course panel of the desired course and add a badge which employees will be awarded automatically upon course-completion.
Simply select Training > Courses from the upper navigation bar and then click on the Manage Course field of your Course.
In the left side menu you can see all of the available settings that you can edit. Click on the Course Badge option, add a title for your badge, write a short description, upload an image and select a shape and/or icon for your badge.
Select the blue Save changes button at the bottom of the page to save your badge. Once a user completes this course, he/she will be awarded with the created course-badge and he/she will be able to view it under his/her Accomplishments.
NOTE:
- If you are an Academy Admin, you will have the option to revoke a badge, if needed.
- Badges that are awarded through training items (Courses, Curricula, or Events) cannot be revoked manually. Only Academy Badges and Group Badges can be revoked.
- Badges will be awarded retroactively if learners have already completed a course.
- The uploaded image’s ratio should be 400x480 pixels.
- The Award Badges page is visible only to administrators, Training Managers with the Award corporate badges and Create corporate badges permissions, job roles assigned the Create Badge permission, and custom roles that have been granted the Create badges permission.
