There are three types of Announcements:
- Academy Announcements
- Course Announcements
- Curriculum Announcements
1. Academy Announcements
Who can send an announcement?
Admins and Training Managers in an academy can send announcements to all members, specific individuals, or selected groups. To do this, go to the Administration Panel and under the Members tab, select Send Announcements.
Additionally, users assigned to a role with the "Send announcements" permission enabled are also able to send announcements.
Please note that an email notification will be sent to the recipients regardless of whether this checkbox is selected.
If you prefer users not to receive an email notification for the academy announcement, but only a personal (in-app) message, you will need to adjust the relevant setting in your Academy Notifications.
To do this, navigate to:
Notifications > Academy > General > “You got a message from [Your Academy title]”
Within this setting:

Disable the Email Notification toggle.

Keep the Real-Time Notification (In-App) option enabled.
Once this configuration is in place, you can select the “Send copy to inbox?” checkbox when sending an academy announcement. This ensures that the selected users will receive only an in-app notification, without an accompanying email.
2. Course Announcements
You can send announcements about a course to all its students, only to those who have completed it or only to those who haven’t.
To do this, hover over Training, click Courses, find the Course in question and click on the Manage Course option.
Once you are on the course panel, select Students in the left -side menu and hit Send Announcements.
You can choose between an individual or an advanced announcement, and you can also filter the results in order to send this announcement to All students, to those who have completed the course or to those who have not completed it yet.

3. Curriculum Announcements
Curriculum announcements are very similar to the course announcements. You can send announcements about a curriculum to all its students, only to those who have completed it or only to those who haven’t.
To do this, hover over Training, click Curricula, find the Curriculum in question and click on the Manage Curriculum option.
Click on the Announcements option from the left side menu.
Similar to course-announcements, you have the option to choose between an individual or an advanced announcement, and you can also filter the results in order to send this announcement to All students, to those who have completed the course or to those who have not completed it yet.
