This release enhances the template used to upload assignments and to mark courses as complete to include external courses, as well.
On the Assign Training page (Admin tab > Online Training > Assign Training), there is a template that can be used to assign and mark as complete at a larger scale.
The assignment template will now accept the course IDs of external courses.
License Handling
License handling depends on the academy setting “Give out licenses automatically”:
- If the “Do you want to give out licenses automatically?” toggle is enabled, the system automatically assigns available licenses to users until no licenses remain. Licenses are allocated based on the order of users in the import file (first users get priority).
- If the “Do you want to give out licenses automatically?” toggle is disabled, users must already have an assigned license in order to proceed.
Coupon Handling
If coupon quota = available, system assigns coupon course to users until they run out (where first users get priority).
If coupon quota = exhausted, no assignment is performed.
Coupon quota exhaustion follows file order (where first users get priority).
Assignment Reports
The assigning individual will receive an email report confirming the assignments that were completed successfully and identifying any records from the import file that could not be processed. This report is sent only if the "Your bulk course import was successful or failed" notification is enabled in your academy.
