If you have an Academy that's no longer in use — for example, one you no longer need active for your organization — you can request that Schoox Support decommission it rather than leaving it inactive.
Requesting a Decommission
Contact Schoox Support and let them know which Academy you'd like decommissioned. Support will confirm the request with you before making any changes, since this action affects the Academy's members and content.
You can choose between two options when requesting a decommission:
- Full deletion — permanently removes the Academy and all of its training, user, and content data.
- Reset to default — clears the Academy's training and user records back to a default state, while keeping the Academy's existing account settings and configurations in place, so you don't need to set them up again.
Choosing Between Full Deletion and Reset
Full deletion is best when you don't expect to use the Academy again in any form. Reset is best when you'd like to reuse the same Academy going forward — for example, to bring it back into active use later — without setting it up from scratch.
Either option is performed by Schoox Support on your behalf; there isn't a self-service option to delete or reset an Academy directly.
