As an Academy Administrator, Training Manager or Manager with the relevant permission enabled (Complete Training), you are able to mark an individual’s course, curriculum or lecture progress as completed, if needed.
Courses / Curricula
To mark a course or a curriculum as completed for a student, navigate to the Employees Dashboard under Reporting, and click the individual’s name.
Select one of the available tabs depending on the material that you want to mark as completed for the selected user (e.g. Courses).
To mark a single course/curriculum as completed, click the wrench icon within that course/curriculum. Click on the Mark as completed button, add the Completion date and the Time Spent, add a Comment if needed, and hit Save:
You can then add a specific completion date and time if you want to.
Important note: If you mark a course/curriculum as complete with a past completion date, the certificate and the current course/curriculum progress will be affected based on the Course/Curriculum settings.
As an example, if the completion date was 01/01/2016 and the course certificate expiration period was set to 12 months, the Certificate that will be issued will be automatically marked as an expired one.
Please note that you can later track the courses that have been Marked as Completed for users, by using the Completed by Admin field in Report Builder. You can also use the Complete by Admin Comments field to review any comments that have been added for these users.
To mark a lecture or lectures as completed for a student, navigate to the Employees Dashboard under Reporting, and click the individual’s name. Search for the Course that contains the lecture in question and click on the Details option.
To mark a single lecture as complete, click the wrench icon next to that lecture. Click on the Mark as completed button, edit the Completion time (if needed) and Save:
