Release Date 1 October
Custom fields (formerly called attributes) allow academy admins to better align their organization's needs with what is available to them by default in their academy. Fields found in their HRIS, for example, can also be used within their academy.
This update adds the option to add custom fields in the different languages spoken throughout the organization.
When creating or editing custom fields within your academy, a default language can be set up for each. Then more languages can then be added. Members will then be able to view the custom field in their preferred language, if set up for that field. Otherwise, the member will view it in the default language.
Setting Up a Localized Custom Fields
Select Admin in the upper navigation bar. Then, under Your Academy on the left, select Academy Settings. Finally, select Custom Attributes and the type of custom field. Then, Add Field.
Add the field name, select the field type, and any relevant information, then save. The initial field will be added in English.
After saving, you will then be able to add additional languages.
NOTE: FTP uploads should be in English. You can then add alternative languages as per the instructions above.
