Extending Due Dates for Specific Learners

Sometimes learners may need a due date extended, due to vacations, sick leave, or being otherwise unavailable. Administrators can set specific dates when learners will be out of office.

To extend the due dates for a learner, select Admin in the top navigation bar.

Under Team Members, select Periods to Extend Due Dates.

Find the desired user, add the period that he/she will be out of office and hit Save. All of the due dates will be extended accordingly.

In this example, all of the due dates will be extended for one month. So, if Zoe had a due date for 10/20/2020, this due date will be updated and the new due date will be 11/20/2020.

Notes

  • When utilizing this functionality to extend due dates, please note that the update applies exclusively to assignments that have already been issued to users at the time of the change. It does not affect any assignments that may be created or assigned in the future. Separate action will be required to adjust due dates for those future assignments.
  • Users whose due dates fall before their designated unavailability period will not be affected by the extension.
