Sometimes you may need a bit more flexibility with course timelines—especially when multiple learners need additional time to complete their training. If you’ve assigned courses or curricula with a set due date and want to extend that deadline for a group of users, there’s an efficient way to handle this all at once.

- A group of learners didn’t complete their training by the original deadline
- You want to give everyone additional time without manually updating each learner's due date
- You need a quick and scalable way to adjust due dates across multiple users
How you can extend due dates in bulk
You can easily update due dates for multiple users at once using the Mass Assignments Completions template. Here’s how:
- Go to your Admin Panel.
2. Navigate to the Online Training tab and select Assign Training.
4. Download the Courses_Mass_Assignments_Completions template by clicking the “Download Template” button.
Note: For Curricula use the Curricula_Mass_Assignments_Completions template.
5. Open the template, enter the required information, and update the “Due Date” column for each user as needed.
- Make sure all due dates are set to a future date
6. Once your updates are complete, upload the template back into the platform by clicking the “Upload File” button to apply the changes.
Helpful tips to keep in mind
- You can only update due dates for courses or curricula that have already been assigned by an admin
- If a learner enrolled in a course / curriculum on their own, the due date field will not be editable
- Due dates must always be set to a future date
- Learners in different time zones may see slight variations in how due dates appear
- If you prefer not to send notifications about the update, you can control this using the “Send Notifications (Y/N)” column in the template.
Using this approach helps you save time while keeping your learners aligned with updated expectations. It’s a simple and effective way to manage training timelines at scale.
